New contract for Collins - Yes or No?
His recent performances have been immense, but he's getting old(er) and we have two young very promising CB's that need to be given a chance at some point.
Should Ginge be offered a new One Year contract?

We'll probably release Collins and make an offer to JT.

Had a passionate season and I love to watch him play.
His age means he should be slowing down.
Review this time next year.

Without a doubt! On his day he is a colossus and I'd rather see a 33 year old Collins in our team than a 36 year old Terry!

Can a mod please change the title of the thread to reflect that he still has a year to go on his current deal? ;-)

Yes, and we should be preparing him for a coaching role at the club for the future.

deal

who knows what formation we will play next season, no team players the same formation every week for the whole season mate. But, I wouldn't be upset if ginge moved on in the summer if he were able to get a 2/3 year deal elsewhere or fonte.

Agree. If we really are going to blood Burke and Oxford they need some game time next season. At least playing 3 cbs means they have more of a chance.

If we don't give him a new contract will the kids get a chance or will Kouyate just get played out of position.
